Once you complete one of our CONTACT FORMS online or ring us direct we will ask for your contact details and record a summary of your requirements on our system. This is used to qualify your request and if there is any additional information required a member of UK Trade Composite Wood Ltd will contact you to discuss your requirements in more detail.
STEP BY STEP
Here is our Step-By-Step guide to fulfilling your DIY project.
Your full requirements are captured into a detailed specification of the conservatory you wish to purchase. We manufacture all of our products to order so the more accurate you can be at this stage the more accurate the price quoted will be. All prices are subject to further confirmation at this stage.
In order to secure your order at the current price you should pay a deposit. On receipt of your payment we will provide written confirmation of your specification along with some high level CAD drawings (where applicable). All drawings provided at this stage are for demonstration purposes only and all costs are subject to further confirmation based upon your changing needs. All prices stated are valid only at the time of quoting and are subject to change at the discretion of UKTCW.
UK Trade Composite Wood Ltd is a supply only company – we do not perform any installation works. On receipt of your deposit, we can however provide you with the details of one of our preferred installation companies in your area from whom you can obtain a more accurate price for the complete installation including all ground works and finishing touches such as electrics and heating etc.
Please note that many of these companies now offer remote surveys free of charge over SKYPE/WhatsApp/Zoom which may be in preference to onsite surveys which may incur a charge.
Following your deposit being paid, we will produce a final specification in the form of your pre-manufacture plans (where applicable). These may include a set of detailed CAD drawings and will confirm the total cost to you for your purchase. The frequency of any staged payments, less the deposits already paid, will also be confirmed also along with an indication of the expected delivery date which is subject to your confirmation.
The signed pre-manufacture plans form that basis of the contract between UKTCW and yourself for your purchase. It will require you signature or written agreement that the order specification is correct and that you are happy for us to proceed with the manufacture. Any change in your specification from this point onwards may result in additional charges.
All installation and building works are separate and solely between you and your contractor and not UK Trade Composite Wood Ltd.
Your settlement of your invoice fees are staged to accommodate three keys stages,
- Stage 1 – 10%-20% to secure your order (% can vary dependant on the goods purchased)
- Stage 2 – 50% of balance on signed approval of your pre-manufacture plans
- Stage 3 – Balance is payable on confirmation of your delivery date.
We offer a wide range of options but we do not offer finance. We can however provide you with detailed plans and drawings in support of your applications for personal finance and/or any planning or building applications.
